Regional Facilities Manager - 23/08/22

The purpose of this role is to lead and manage technical and building maintenance services of our Belgian clubs to ensure smooth running and safe operations at all times. This includes ensuring that all the Club facilities are well-cared for and fit for purpose at all times to support the satisfaction of our members and guests. The Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for all aspects of maintenance at the club and the management of the main outsourced technical maintenance contract. He/She will be reporting to the Head of Real Estate and will manage the maintenance team of the Belgian clubs and other maintenance supply chain. In addition, he/she will be the senior point of contact for the Aspria operations team for all maintenance issues as well as, responsible for setting and implementing the future direction of maintenance management at the Brussels clubs in collaboration with Head Office. Finally, the Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring that all works comply with current Belgian health and safety regulation and safe working standards, including service suppliers and/or supply chain partners. The role will also require regular travel throughout the week (possibly as often as daily) between the Brussels clubs and occasional trips to the other Aspria European clubs.

Compétences requises:		•Degree level in a relevant discipline such as mechanical and/or electrical engineering, civil engineering or architecture •A minimum of 3 years experience in Facilities Management, ideally coming from the hospitality or retail sector •A minimum of 5 years’ exposure to the mechanical, electrical or building services sector, with a good working knowledge of all services such as: o Electrical systems o HVAC o Heating/Boilers o Water treatment for swimming pools o Controls and Building Management Systems o Fire systems, smoke detectors, security and access systems o Lifts (general understanding from M&E perspective) o H&S • Experience in negotiating and managing maintenance contracts •Experience in managing a maintenance team •Experience and proven ability in financial management and budgeting •Excellent knowledge of all modern technical maintenance procedures and processes, the associated health and safety regulations •Ability to prepare specifications, reports and present in English to the Head Office team •Excellent organizational and presentation skills •Self-starter with the ability to work flexibly and under stress • Customer oriented • Innovative problem solver • Excellent written and spoken French and English • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
