System Engineer - 11/03/19

Main purpose of job : We seek a colleague who will be involved in the IT support to the organization. Responsibilities / Tasks : As a system engineer at Thon Hotels Benelux you’ll have a wide range of responsibilities: •You’ll maintain and optimize the IT infrastructure: •Virtualization (VMWare 6.5) •SAN storage, back up & monitoring tools •Public Wi-Fi platform for guests •IP telephony (Avaya) + Skype for Business •IPTV in all guest rooms •Network infrastructure, Domain Controllers & a wide range of application servers •Network security •Citrix XenApp 7.15 •Point of Sales system •Mobile device mgt. •You’ll answer all first line support calls from the users via mail & telephone and deliver on site support when required. •You’ll contact external companies for second line support, do the follow up & gather knowledge for internal usage. •You make proposals to improve the current environment. •You’ll take part in various IT projects.

Compétences requises:		You are flexible and able to work alone and in team and you have: •You have a basic knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, VMware, Windows server 2012 - 2016 & Citrix 7.15 XenApp / Xendesktop, MS Exchange 2016, networking •You speak fluently English. Knowledge of Dutch & French is a plus. •You are proactive and like to take initiative. •You are social and have strong communication skills. •You are enthusiastic, like to learn and you are able to find the motivation in solving issues reported by the users.
