Sales Executive - 30/04/19

Job scope: - Manage account portfolio with key & prospect accounts within all relevant segment in Belgium & abroad and liaise with Hilton Global Sales, maximizing and driving revenue by increasing market and customer share. - Manage sales activities and events in line with the annual sales and marketing plan in order to achieve/exceed budget. Reports to : Sales and Revenue responsible Key responsibilities - Maintain and develop contacts with business generators, corporate accounts, travel agents, and other producers closely allied to hotel’s business - Travel when required to promote the hotel and develop potential business, not only for sales calls but also to participate in Trade Fairs & Workshops - Build an account portfolio with prospect/key accounts, maximizing and driving revenue by increasing market and customer share; or generating incremental revenue and at the same time build up the image of the hotel on the market - Maintain fully established and regularly updated account profiles ( key and major prospects) and liaise with Hilton Global Account Managers where necessary - Plan and conduct familiarization Tours & Site Inspections with potential customers - Entertain clients and conducts regular client reviews - Monitor competitors activities and assists in Market Intelligence and updates the team accordingly Workload specifications - Telesales: 30% - Client visits/Sites Inspections/Sales Calls Belgium: 40% - Client visits, Sales Calls, Trade Shows abroad: 10% - Administration & reportings (including meetings, networkings, market research): 20% Financial Responsibilities - Effectively monitor cost effectiveness of his/her own sales related actions Business Planning - Contribute to the overall strategic plan of the business and help compile the annual hotel business plan - Keep abreast of trends in your area and implement best practice initiatives

Compétences requises:   • International hotel/tourism school background • Minimum 2 years working experience as sales executive or similar position in hotels or in representative companies • Fluent in English, French and Dutch, knowledge of other languages is an advantage • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint + OnQ Hilton PMS • Driven for result • Natural and persevering negotiator • Excellent presentation, commercial & communication skills • Self-motivated and enthusiastic character • Good communication skills, both orally and written • Very flexible & ready to travel • Good priority setting abilities
