Main purpose of job: We seek a colleague who likes to think independently, dare to ask questions and take his own initiative. You are engaged and personal in your meeting with guests and colleagues. Your primary task, together with the reception team, is to create a consistently good atmosphere and service to our hotel guests. Responsibilities / Tasks: ◾Ensuring that the daily operations from Front Office are running smoothly. ◾Providing the necessary tools/training to the reception team do their work efficiently and discusses this frequently with the Front Office Manager. ◾Maintaining a high level of quality of the service provided during their shift. ◾Monitoring the appearance, standards and performance of the Front Office Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork ◾Carrying out shift handovers and brief team members as required ◾Assisting other departments, as necessary, and maintain good working relationships with hotel Team Members ◾Assisting in Front Office administration ◾Creating a positive working atmosphere, motivating his/her colleagues and lead the team by example. ◾Dealing with customer complaints quickly, confidently, effectively, appropriately and using existing communication tools to keep informed the necessary colleagues. ◾Carrying out duty shifts.

Compétences requises:		You are flexible and initiative-oriented and thrive in a hectic working environment. ◾Experience in the service industry is a must, preferably in the Front Office department. ◾Good communication skills, both written and oral in English/French/Dutch ◾Knowledge of OPERA is a plus.
