Area MICE Sales Coordinator - 02/01/20

Main purpose of job : The Area MICE Sales Coordinator is responsible of incoming requests (groups corporate & leisure, M&E, individuals) and sales related opportunities. He / she closes the best opportunities for the properties and clients based on market conditions and properties’ needs. Responsibilities / Tasks : ◾Making all the reservations regarding seminars, meetings, conferences, groups ◾Assist his/her colleagues for individual reservations ◾Doing all quotations following internal procedure and revenue strategy ◾Making offer analysing the market and the request of the client, the availability and choosing the hotel who will be more profitable, being a sales person and guide the client ◾Cross sell all hotels of the chain ◾Giving information about conference facilities of all the properties in order to up sell services ◾Handling booking options, contracts, pro-forma, 1st deposit ◾Transferring leads and necessary information to other departments (revenue, sales, marketing…) ◾The agent will also be in phone contact with the guest using a commercial attitude ◾Participating on all sales activities (visits, call storms, conference calls, fairs,..)

Compétences requises:		You are flexible and initiative-oriented and thrive in a hectic working environment. ◾ Experience in the hotel and or meeting industry is a mandatory ◾ Excellent communication skills, written and oral in Dutch, English & French ◾ Ability to prioritise and plan effectively ◾ Commercial attitude ◾ Guest oriented and you are a “sales person” ◾ You managed stress, you are proactive and flexible ◾ OPERA S&C knowledge is a plus In addition, you can identify you with our 3 basic values: 1) Passionately committed, 2) Professional hospitality and 3) The power to please.
