ACCOUNT MANAGER - National Sales TEAM - 09/03/22

• Maximize revenue & profit opportunities through sales activities from the assigned accounts - hunting for new potential accounts - individually and as a team work • You will manage a portfolio of local Government, Corporate & MICE accounts • Account development; follow-up on client’s “stay & spend” productions and; - take necessary actions to maintain / improve level of production - develop strategic account plans and plan active roll out (incl. develop M&E -Meeting & Events- opportunities) • Achieve turnover objectives • Handle RFP’s according to NH guidelines • Grow & strengthen relationships with your clients (B-2-B) to become their consultant. • Maintain good working relationship with hotels in BU and particularly in assigned geographical working area • Keep in close contact and liaise with other departments to develop accounts such as: Sales counter partners (based abroad), Global Sales, Group Sales Booking Offices, Revenue Managers and Marketing Dep. • Responsible for maintaining a high quality CRM-system for existing accounts and prospects

Vereiste vaardigheden:   We are looking for an experienced candidate in the hotel / travel industry with a strong network and in-depth understanding of the corporate & government hotel industry segments You should possess strong commercial, communication and analytical skills which are needed to make smart business decisions in the execution of the commercial plan. Required Profile: • Minimum of 3 years field sales experience in the hotel/travel industry • Knowledge of hotel/tourism market • Experienced with Lanyon, Hotelligence / Agency 360 and SAP, TMS (and preferably: understanding of GDS, TMC’s and other distribution channels) • Large active MICE/Corporate/Government network in Belgium (and abroad) • Dutch, French and English: fluent spoken and written language skills. • Understanding of Microsoft Office applications • In the possession of a driver’s license • Analytical and proactive approach • Action oriented & pro-active business approach • Results driven (always searching for creative & new opportunities) • High level of negotiation skills • Networker • Articulate and clear & effective communication skills • Polished presentations skills • Self-motivated & self-disciplined • Priority-setting, time-management and organizing abilities • Flexible and independent working approach • Ability to travel as and when business needs demand You have a commercial and “business hunger” attitude and are able to persuade our clients to choose NH Hotels. You find it important to work on a high service level, advise our clients, and provide them with a professional tailor-made proposal, which is according to their & NH’s wishes and needs and “to be an ambassador of the NH Hotel Group”.
