Main purpose of job: We seek a colleague with a passion for cuisine and respect of procedures in order to deliver an irreproachable service towards our guests. You like to work in a team while being independent too. The kitchen prepares the dishes of “The Twelve” restaurant: breakfast, lunch menu, à la carte menu, room service and snacks of the bar card. You are also in charge of banqueting meals: group menus, hot/cold buffets, sandwiches and coffee breaks (10 meeting rooms with a capacity up to 300 persons). Responsibilities / Tasks: ◾Mise-en-place: prepare ingredients of the restaurant menus, group menus, banqueting ◾Preparing sauces, hot and cold ingredients, desserts ◾Cooking of meat, fish, vegetables ◾Finishing/decorating plates ◾Coordinating/supervising: control of product quality, stock control, respecting security/hygiene procedures ◾Cleaning and tidying: clear food buffets, preserve food items, clean work spaces ◾Suggest new preparations, dishes, presentations
