Bar Manager - 11/06/18
Main purpose of job: The function of the Bar Manager is to oversee daily operations in the bars. The Bar Manager is responsible for monitoring and controlling beer and liquor costs, writing and updating cocktail menus, overseeing the product line, creating events in his department, monitoring our Grab&Go outlet and managing the staff.

| Compétences requises: | Responsibilities / Tasks: • Greet & serve customers; be on floor as host of bars, communicate with guests, ascertain guest satisfaction. • Follow through on all guest issues, communicate with upper management. • Provide detailed information on the product where you will working with • Conference and banqueting service • Upsell in the ways possible and appropriate • Develop and maintain all beverage menus. Communicate closely with Executive Chef on customer feedback and sales for the bar food menus, food quality and presentation. • Remain informed on current trends and make recommendations for changes and direction of the department to the hotel management based on industry trends. • Standardize and document all cocktail recipes, and ensure product consistency. Research products such as mixers, bar snacks, glassware and more to remain competitive and provide a superior experience for our guests. • Enforce service standards, procedures and policies. Ensure staff is in proper uniform and opens on time daily. • Ensure that the bar is kept clean and organized. Skill set we are looking for: You are flexible and initiative-oriented and thrive in a hectic working environment. • Experience in the F&B sector of a larger hotel is necessary ! • Excellent presentation skills • Excellent sales skills • Excellent communication skills in English and French, all other languages are a plus • Flexibility to work in shifts • Stress resistant • People manager • Ability to multi-task various front-of-the house duties In addition, you can identify you with our 3 basic values: 1) Passionately committed, 2) Professional hospitality and 3) The power to please. | |||||
