Bell Boy or Girl Weekendjob - 12/10/18

The Bell boy or girl greets and escorts arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations, retrieving and transporting their luggage. He/She visually inspects rooms and acquaints each guest with room and features. You respond to the guest requests. You organize and store luggage as necessary in a designated area and according to the procedures of your hotel-management. You lift, move & handle guest’s luggage, familiarize the guest with his or her new surroundings, deliver supplies and provide guests with information about the hotel and the surrounding areas. Every encounter with a guest should be helpful and cordial. You call the guests by name , you are polite and service-minded. You always serve with a smile. Other departments can call upon your help when the hotel is busy or housekeeping and maintenance crews are short-handed. For this job we are looking for students willing to work in the weekends.

You will have to preform to achieve the department’s goals and hotel’s philosophy. - friendly & cheerful, with eye for detail and quality driven - you like contact & communication with hotel-guests - you have an outgoing and warm personality and groomed appearance - you dress in the appropriate uniform and you wear it in style - you like flexible hours and are able to work at night, on weekends and holidays - you speak fluently French and have good knowledge of English or Dutch
