| Vereiste vaardigheden: | Main purpose of the internship: We are looking for a motivated student who is organised and eager to learn. During the internship, the trainee will learn how to welcome guests correctly, make site inspection of the hotel with guests and advise them what is the best way to organise events in the hotel. It is our aim that the trainee will manage independently his/her files. The trainee will be considered as a colleague and must be able to work in team and have great communication skills. Responsibilities / Tasks: •All the last minute events and groups request following internal procedure •Making all the reservations regarding seminars, meetings, conferences, groups, dinners, banqueting, weddings... •Taking care of the last minute changes and follows up. •Dealing and informing the others departments about the C&B room occupancy •Organizing the weekly meeting with operational teams •Settling the arrival of the group (welcome letter/preparation...) •Being the contact person for the guest during his stay •Making exit Interview •Doing site inspections •All other tasks related to the MICE department Skill set we are looking for: •You are flexible, initiative-oriented and thrive in a hectic working environment. •Experience in the service industry is an advantage, preferably in the food and beverage and/or front office department. •Good communication skills, both written and oral in English and French (Dutch is an asset) • A training period of minimum 4 months organized for the purposes of their studies within an educational institution.
