Area Reservations Agent - 02/04/19

Main purpose of job : The Area Reservations Agent is responsible of incoming requests via phone or mail. Closes the best opportunities for the properties and clients based on market conditions and properties’ needs. Responsibilities / Tasks : ◾Makes all the reservations for a maximum of 9 rooms ◾Welcomes the guest and answer the telephone with a smile for internal & external calls ◾Assists his/her colleagues for individual reservations ◾Provides the potential clients with propositions and confirmations in the form of offers and confirmations all responding to the needs and demands of the clients ◾Ensures clear communication with all other departments and do all follow-ups for the requested information by the other departments ◾Carries out any other tasks requested by management in keeping with the Thon Hotels’ standards and ideas. ◾Makes offer analysing the market and the request of the client, the availability and choosing the hotel who will be more profitable, is a sales person and guides the client. ◾Cross sell all hotels of the chain. ◾Gives information about bedrooms facilities of all the properties in order to up sell services. ◾Handles booking options, contracts, pro-forma, refund, CC form. ◾Transferring leads and necessary information to other departments (revenue, sales, marketing…). ◾The agent will also be in phone contact with the guest using a commercial attitude and always with a positive attitude.
